Genew serving PLDT Migration 8-digit landline number to push through October 6

As of 8:30 AM, October 6 2020, Genew have successfully completed the migration of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) landline customers. We have made successful calls from PLDT customers to subscribers of other telco carriers. PLDT notified customers in a statement Wednesday that all landline numbers with the area code “02” will now include a “8.” This means that for users in Metro Manila, Rizal Province, San Pedro, Laguna, and Bacoor, Cavite, landline numbers that used to be (02)123-4567 will become (02)8123-4567 by Oct. 6. Later on, Genew shall provide further updates as per the requirements from the customer.

Genew is one of the two major core network suppliers of PLDT, has successfully completed the 8-digit number upgrade task with long-term technical accumulation and excellent service, and won the praise of PLDT and customers.
