MAP SMGW is the interface unit between SMSC and 2G/3G mobile network. SIP SMGW is the interface unit between SMSC and LTE network. The interface unit transfer the SMS to the relevant mobile network. The main flow includes: Get routing information, Transfer MT SMS to mobile network. Accordingly, it transfers the MO SMS to SMSC module.
